The support given to film directors and media

Selection of the "short-film competition", that wish to be at the Algarve, Portugal, between 10 and 18 of May 2008, the direction of the FICA/2008 guaranties logging and a participation for meals, in money or restaurant tickets.

All others that intend to come to the Algarve will benefit of significant discounts in the prices of logging and meals, making very appealing the staying among us.

For the journalists and people of the media, since arrangements can be made in order to guaranty an adequate cover of FICA/2008, the direction will guaranty logging and sometimes meals.

In order to execute correctly their work, all media people will have a press room equipped with computers, fax, internet and telephone lines, in a quite environment, with a very pleasant decoration and administrative support.

People of tv and radio will have some equipment that will help in their line of work.

The festival’s direction will also dispose in their secretary services, some elements that will speak various languages and will help the media people to make the journalistic cover of the festival, specially the interviews with foreign directors.

During all festival, we will have a transportation net in order to guarantee the arrivals and departures at Faro airport.

The FICA 2008 direction will have a private parking lounge, near the main reception at Praia da Rocha, destined to the cars of all participants that will expressly come to the Algarve.
