In order to make possible the immediately return to all the films that had participated in this section, we ask for to its responsible, to send in writing, until the next day 20 May, the right address, the name of a person and a telephone of contact. From this date the films will be sent for the address that we have in archive. Use, please, the following address:

"Deus Não Quis" won FICA 2009 BIG PRIZE

FICA 2009 - Short Film Competition finished, with the announcement and projection of the winning films, and with great recognition of the Portuguese Cinema. The film "DEUS NÃO QUIS" directed by the Portuguese ANTÓNIO FERREIRA, a fiction with 15', was the great winner of the edition of this year when collecting the prize for the “Best Portuguese Film” and simultaneously the “Big Prize Cidade de Portimão"” of the Festival.

To foment the interchange enters the cinema festivals was one of the conclusions approved for unamimity in the meeting that congregated the majority of the Portuguese festivals.
